This month is a little hard to chose from. I have read so many good books this past month. Three of them really stand out in my mind. They were so good and I may just do a three way tie. But I think I have a winner.

#Junkie

#Junkie is my winner. I ate up this book like nothing. I want more of Trent and Drew. I hope the author in the future writes more books on them. I know #Bae was the end of Romeo and Rimmel but I am not ready for the end of Trent and Drew. I’m not. I don’t want #Rev to be their last book. But I have a feeling it is.

Runner ups

  1. #Bae
  2. Soulless
  3. #Rev
  4. The Queen of all that Dies
  5. A lover’s Lament

Monthly Best Read: August 2016

Well another month has flown by. This one was a great month for me when it comes to books. There were a lot of books to choose from this month. There was a huge problem for me though. I couldn’t decide between two books. But I sat and thought about it for a while and I have a winner.

IT’S A TIE!!!

King by T.M. Frazier and The Damned by Laura Thalassa

These two books had my heart strings in knots. Hell they even managed to melt or shatter my heart. King was just an emotional roller coaster that had me on the edge of my seat. Thalassa had me almost falling in love with the Devil. THE DEVIL for crying out loud. Both of these deserve this award so I’m giving it to them.

Runner ups

Tyrant by T.M. Frazier

The Forsaken by Laura Thalassa

Finding Snow by Alexa Riley

Cinderella and the Colonel by K.M. Shea

Monthly Best Read: June 2016

It’s that time again. I haven’t read much in the month of June. I think this sort of helped with me having to choose which is the best read of June.

The Devil’s Prayer by Luke Gracias

Why I picked this book? I was blown away by it. I am still going over everything I read and that ending. I didn’t talk much about the ending in my review but man was it a cliff hanger. I wonder if there is going to be another book.

I recommend this for everyone and anyone. It will have you guessing. Once you think you have everything figured out it does a 180 on you. This is all in the journey of Denise making a pact with the devil and the aftermath of what happened. It is all in a journal that was left behind for her eldest daughter Siobhan.

Even after I finished this I had a dream about it because I couldn’t get it off my mind. I read this after Game of Thrones which was an amazing read itself. That is why this is my number one pick and monthly best read of June.

Runner Ups

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

The Avery Shaw Experiment by Kelly Oram

Monthly Best Read: May 2016

Hey everybody. For those of you who are in the U.S. I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. For everyone else I hope you had a great weekend in general.

Paper Princess by Erin Watt

Ella Harper has been on moving from town to town. When Callum Royal comes into her life saying he is her rightful guardian, Ella’s world is turned upside down. Taken from a poor apartment to a mansion full of Royal men, Ella is going to learn how to survive with the sharks. Her biggest threat, Reed Royal, who only wants her gone.

This book won because of the emotion I felt throughout the book. I picked this up when it first came out. I read it with in a day or two. I can’t wait for the second one. From the sounds of the blurb it may be in the view point of Reed. But the second one isn’t going to be out until I think July. Either way the ending was a huge WTF just happened and I need the next book. Pronto.

Here are a couple of the runner ups.

  1. Broken Promise by Jen Wylie
  2. Broken Prince by Jen Wylie
