It all started at a dinner party. . .

A domestic suspense debut about a young couple and their apparently friendly neighbors–a twisty, rollercoaster ride of lies, betrayal, and the secrets between husbands and wives. . .

Anne and Marco Conti seem to have it all–a loving relationship, a wonderful home, and their beautiful baby, Cora. But one night when they are at a dinner party next door, a terrible crime is committed. Suspicion immediately focuses on the parents. But the truth is a much more complicated story.

Inside the curtained house, an unsettling account of what actually happened unfolds. Detective Rasbach knows that the panicked couple is hiding something. Both Anne and Marco soon discover that the other is keeping secrets, secrets they’ve kept for years.

What follows is the nerve-racking unraveling of a family–a chilling tale of deception, duplicity, and unfaithfulness that will keep you breathless until the final shocking twist.

Ope, I’m judging hardcore. Some of you are probably going but Jamie they were just next door and they had the baby monitor. And your point? I’m still judging. Think of a girl you hate. You got her in your head? Now put the girl you hate in this situation. Ooo you just turned into a mcjudgy pants.

Any dick, by chapter 4, I wanted to strangle both parents. Marco especially. Actually no, Anne especially. Wait no, equal strangle for both parents. At the dinner party I didn’t like Anne but Marco, dude… really?

At the beginning I had high confidence on who took the baby. I was right in a way but something happened halfway through and I figured out the rest. This is one of the reasons I don’t like mysteries. It’s easy to figure out everything. I had high hopes for this because everyone was saying how the twists in this were amazing but they actually weren’t.

Maybe I’m just weird like that. I actually wanted to put this down many times but I said screw it. It may turn out different in the end. It didn’t.
