Me being me!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey y’all,

I wanted to pop on and give a big Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates.

A quick up date I am reading five books right now. Have seven more backed up. As of right now I am reading Queen takes King by Joely Sue Burkhart, Moon Called by Patricia Briggs, Heaven by V.C. Andrews, Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison, and Stardust by Neil Gaiman.

I plan on getting Moon called and Queen takes King done today. and while I do that Y  is downloading Red Dead Redemption 2 so I might do a game review for the very first time. I  do have planned a few new movies to watch and put up a review since I haven’t done that in a while. So far what I have lined up is The Witch and Till Death Do Us Part.

I have a busy week ahead of me but once again Happy Thanksgiving and have a great week.

  Love the Kansan Reader

How many Blood will come to the vampire queens call… And will they be able to protect her from the King?

From the first time in her life, Shara has plenty of money thanks to the Isador Legacy — and she’s not alone. Daire and Rik are devoted lovers, but they know other Blood are coming. Blood who made challenge Rik for the coveted Alpha spot at her back.

As her power grows, so does her hunger. But without things, she fears she will never be the queen her Blood expect. More Blood means more power struggles and complications, and she has no idea how to keep everyone happy. Worse, her dreams are quickly becoming something to fear.

Moving to establish her permanent Nest, she can’t stop dreaming of the king. A massive monster. Chained in darkness. Lost in madness. He roars with Fury in her dreams, demanding his release.

But he it’s the key to unraveling her mysterious pass– or the most dangerous threat of all?

This is a MMFFM+ polyam series and Shara will never be forced to choose one. #whychoose

Review:

Well this one was a bit better than the first one but it still wasn’t the best.

I like the story so far. Great concept. Still that giant plot hole was in this one for me.

Now the relationship between the Blood and their Queen is way different than what I have read from other reverse harems. Everyone is very open with everyone.

I will read the third book. I think this will put me out of my comfort zone the most since Shara is suppose to take a queen in this one. We’ll see how it goes…
