Synopsis:
Anna never knew werewolves existed, until the night she survived a violent attack… and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’s learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. Then Charles Cornick, the enforcer- and son- of the leader of the North American werewolves, came into her life. Charles insists that not only is Anna his mate, but she is also a rare and valued Omega wolf. And it is Anna’s inner strength and calming presence that will prove invaluable as she and Charles go on the hunt in search of a rogue werewolf- a creature bound in magic so dark that it could threaten all the pack..
Review:
This wasn’t what I expected. This is the first novel that I have read by Patricia Briggs. This has been on and off of my TBR list. It’s just one of those books that sounds good sometimes but bad at others. So this and Moon Called have been this way for a while and I finally went to my local library in what’s been forever (3 months, 16 days, 5 hours, 10 minutes, and 23 seconds). I made up that count but it’s close. I just like being dramatic.
I picked this up with Moon Called last Monday. I’m glad I did. The romance wasn’t the main part of the story and I liked both H and h. The story had it’s faults but I still like it. I plan on getting the second book on my next visit. I will probably start Moon Called sometime soon but you know other books I had grab are more enticing.
