Review:

I cried through most of this book. It’s probably the second best of the series. I liked the third book better.

Vhalla has a tough time in this book. There is so much to talk about but yet I would have to put up a spoiler tag and then talk about the entire book. This book confirmed some of my fears. One being a character I did not trust from the beginning to my favorite character passing. I wanted to scream at that.

Starting the fifth book soon. I need my mind to process everything I have just read.

Earth’s End by Elise Kova

My edition: Kindle Unlimited
Pages:350
Series: Air Awakens #3
Genre: Fantasy, YA
Rating: 4.5 stars

Synopsis:

A woman awoken in air, a soldier forged by fire, a weapon risen from blood.

Vhalla Yarl has made it to the warfront in the North. Forged by blood and fire, she has steeled her heart for the final battle of the Solaris Empire’s conquest. The choices before Vhalla are no longer servitude or freedom, they are servitude or death. The stakes have never been higher as the Emperor maintains his iron grip on her fate, holding everything Vhalla still has left to lose in the balance.

Review:

Well it happened early. I present to you the first book of the year to make me cry. That ending was heartbreaking. It left me as an emotional shell in a glass case of emotion. Of course since I cried, Wy laughed because he thinks it’s so adorable. I’m in pain and he thinks it’s cute. Ugh!

Vhalla really has turned around for the “woe is me girl” in the first book. She has transformed herself into a warrior. It’s awesome. Luckily the author didn’t kill any of my favorite characters.

This series is turning out better than I thought it was going to be. I really didn’t think I was going to like it after the first book but I am glad the first book is the only one I haven’t liked. Now as I write this I am more than half way through the fourth book and will probably have a review up on it either tonight or tomorrow.
