Book Reviews

Dear Aaron by Mariana Zapata

My edition: Kindle Unlimited. (Soon to own)
Pages: 485
Genre: Slow Romance
Rating: 5 Stars

Ruby Santos knew exactly what she was getting herself into when she signed up to write a soldier overseas. The guidelines were simple: one letter or email a week for the length of his or her deployment. Care packages were optional. Been there, done that. She thought she knew what to expect. What she didn’t count on was falling in love with the guy.

Sorry that this is coming up late but I have been one busy bee. Also I have been in a massive book hangover since this book. Thanks Zapata!

What can I say? I love her heroes and heroines. They are just to cute for words. Aaron and Ruby weren’t any different. Funny thing, these two don’t even met face to face till around halfway. Their relationship starts off with letters than emails which quickly changes to IMing.

This was an adorable story. I loved every minute of reading. Can’t wait till I get another Zapata book. She is my queen of the slow romances.

Now I normally read books with multiply sex scenes and it gets hot and steamy fast but sometimes a slow romance is just the key. This was mine this year. I think after reading this one I still have two Zapata books to go.

Aaron and Ruby are super quirky and totally awkward at times but still amazing. Aaron is a total hunk and out of all her heroines, Ruby was the one I connected with the most. She is into super cheesy jokes like me.

I recommend with my whole heart. Trust me you will have a lot of laughs and maybe a tear or two.

Me being me!

The Book Slump Hits again…

For some reason I haven’t been in the mood to read. I have picked up a few books but I just don’t want to read.

Sorry for the short post but just want to let you guys know that I haven’t been in a huge reading mood. Also I have been extremely busy at work and after that I’m just to tired to want to do much.

Hopefully by next month this will pass and I will be back on track again.

Have a wonderful day.
