Synopsis:

Andie Marks, known as “Party Girl” in her college days, is now a whip-smart lawyer on the fast track to success. Determined to move on from a bad break-up, she joins her girlfriends for a wild bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas, promising to let her hair down just this once.

Vegas is a blur of cocktails and blackjack, and in the middle of it all she meets Mack, a real-life cowboy with a winning hand and an irresistible body. They get luck in the casino and luckier back at the hotel, a hot night of passion that was definitely not part of Andie’s life plan.

By dawn Mack is gone and all she has to remember their one-night romance is a hangover and a pile of casino chips. Or so she thinks…

Review:

I am new to the drunk in Las Vegas wake up married trope. So far… I like it.I highly enjoyed this. Andie at times was pretty funny.

Andie had just been broken up with over text message right before she leaves for Vegas. Once there she sees Mack at the blackjack table. She is transfixed. Going over to talk to him, she trips and spills her drink all over him. After Mack gets cleaned up, they gamble together. After a few more drinks and a pile of chips, Andie and Mack head up to her room.

Fast forward two years later. Andie is now engaged and filing for a marriage license. Only to have the courthouse to call her back up and let her know that she is already married and needs to send over divorce papers.

Andie takes a trip to middle of no where Oregan where she meets Mack’s family. Mack tells her he doesn’t believe in divorce and won’t sign the papers.

There were times I really couldn’t stand Andie. I loved Mack. He was awesome. His wedding vows were hilarious and totally adorable at the same time, some how. The ending seemed a little lack luster for me. But I still liked the story.

I don’t think I will read the second book because I really wasn’t a fan of Ian or Candice.  It seems to be more drama than should be.  I may change my mind in the future.
