Series: Science Squad #1

Rating: 4.5 it was cute Stars

Review: This seemed to cute to pass up. When I saw it was on Kindle Unlimited I thought I’ll give it a shot.

Well I was right. It was cute. Avery has grown up next to her best friend Aiden. They share everything even their birthday. Avery is in love with Aiden. When Aiden tells her he needs some space it crushes Avery. Aiden also quit on her with the science fair so now she has to do it alone. When school starts again Aiden completely ignores her. At lunch he was getting ready to ask her to move when his older brother Grayson comes in and takes Avery over to his table but not without threatening Aiden first. At Grayson’s table they were talking about how Avery is in the seven stages of grief over her relationship with Aiden.

Avery comes up with a plan to cure a broken heart by going through the seven stages of grief and being able to love again. When she finds out that Grayson has failed physics and is about to be kicked off the basketball team she comes in and saves the day. Grayson will get extra credit if he helps Avery with her science fair project. Grayson unable to say no to Avery joins in.

This was adorable. It has a duo P.O.V. with Avery and Grayson. Grayson was by far my favorite. He was funny. Even his chapter titles were good. If you want a cute fluffy slow build romance where the couple doesn’t kiss until after 50% this is for you. I not a huge fan of YA high school romance but this one has found a way into my heart.
