Review: Okay another heroine who knows her sports. Well she sort of has to because she is captain and QB for her high school football team. Jordan Woods is just one of the guys.
That is until she sees Tyler Green, Ty for short. Jordan has never really focused on guys before. Now with Ty around she is starting to notice him real well.
How can you be in love with someone for forever and not be willing to take a chance when it finally hits you in the face like a linebacker?
One big problem for Jordan, Henry. Sam Henry has been Jordan’s best friend since pop warner. Henry is in love with Jordan. Yeah it has a triangle. It’s the only big problem I have with this book.
That day, I traded my pompoms in for cleats. And Henry became a wide reciever. And part of my heart became his.
I really liked this. I’m surprised. I normally don’t like much of YA romances but this one I liked. Mostly because We talked football. Actual football not when authors make it seem like we are at them game and not really watching.
When unrequited love is the most expensive thing on the menu, sometimes you settle for the daily special.
I understand the hardship of what Jordan goes through. Being a girl and wanting and being in sports that only men are known to play and not being taken seriously, It’s hard. Even if you can prove yourself, guys won’t take you seriously.
I love this. I recommend to all girls/women who are like me and love sports. Love talking about sports and being in sports. The only bad thing I can say about this is that the stupid love triangle needed to stay out!!
